Noodle & texture
The noodles really impressed me. It tasted like ban mian that you can usually get at regular food courts and has a chewy and QQ texture!
Sauce
The mixture of the sauce and chili oil created a delicious sauce that paired with the noodles. They really provide a lot of chili oil and it ended up being a little too spicy for me. If your spice tolerance is not good, I recommend adding the chili oil as you go as the entire packet might be too spicy for some (like myself haha).
Garnish
I really loved the complementing anchovy garnishing that made this instant ban mian taste so much like real ban mian. The salty, crispy anchovies gave texture to the dish which I really enjoyed!
Out of the packet, you only get noodles, sauce and anchovy garnishing. To make it a complete ban mian meal, I recommend adding your own vegetables, mince meat and egg. It’s a really great and convenient way for us to get a proper ban mian fix at home.
This will really make you feel like you’re not eating an instant meal and is up there compared to other instant noodles.

It seems like Meet Mee has a wide variety of instant pan mee options from regular soup, this chili one and kam heong with options between thick (ban mian) and thin (yu mian) noodles. I’ll probably try the soup version next as I love soup noodles.
